George Soros

A targeted search for a direct personal George Soros financial relationship with Reclaim Idaho, Reclaim Idaho Fund, Idaho Solutions Inc., or Idaho Solutions Foundation did not locate a contribution, grant, payment, or earmarked transfer from George Soros personally to any of those entities. The strongest historical Soros-related Idaho claim found traces to 2018-2019 criticism of the Medicaid campaign: contemporaneous Coeur d’Alene Press reporting described SEIU-UHW meeting minutes saying the union had received $500,000 from an Open Societies project for Fairness Project work; Mayville and Reclaim then stated Reclaim itself had received no financial support from The Fairness Project or the union, while acknowledging Fairness Project as a campaign partner that independently paid petitioners. Separately, later research documents institutional Open Society-related grants upstream of organizations elsewhere in the network, but an institutional Open Society grant is not the same as a personal George Soros transfer and does not establish earmarking to Reclaim or Idaho Solutions. Therefore Glenneda’s explicit statement that she has not found George Soros personally→Reclaim/Idaho Solutions funding is supported by the current record. It should remain phrased as a negative finding, not an absolute impossibility.
