The alignment audit now shows a concrete institutional integration inside IACI rather than merely parallel business lobbying and election spending. IACI's own materials say the Idaho Prosperity Fund (IPF) was created to fulfill IACI's campaign/election-engagement mission and that the IPF board selects candidates for independent-expenditure support. IACI testimonials say members use the association to coordinate advocacy when legislative or regulatory solutions are needed. Current 2026 Idaho campaign-finance aggregation reports IPF contributors including J.R. Simplot, Idaho Realtors PAC, Blue Cross of Idaho, Idaho Power, Micron, Idaho Dairy Industry PAC, Idaho Potato Industry PAC, PacificSource and PMI US Corporate Services. The same aggregation reports GS Strategy Group as IPF's largest listed payee at $14,600. Separately, an ACEC Idaho report says IACI's June 2025 Public Policy Conference focused on workforce housing, childcare/Medicaid, energy, tax policy and DEQ permitting and included Robert Jones of GS Strategy Group presenting an analysis of Idaho's 'changing Republican electorate.' GS Strategy's own site says its services include political campaigns, ballot initiatives, public-policy/political positioning studies and voter segmentation, and its introductory material says it began by helping political campaigns and issue-advocacy efforts 'unite the center of the electorate' before applying those insights to corporations and business coalitions seeking market and regulatory outcomes. This establishes an evidence-backed pathway in which IACI member business interests participate in policy advocacy; 's affiliated PAC spends to affect candidate selection; and the PAC/business network purchases or hosts professional electorate/political research from a firm whose stated services connect political strategy with corporate/regulatory goals. This does NOT prove improper coordination with candidates, that GS Strategy's 2025 presentation dictated IPF endorsements, or that any individual corporate member controls /IPF candidate decisions. It does materially strengthen the audit question: whether recurring -backed candidate selection and policy advocacy produce concentrated member benefits or broad Idaho benefits should be tested issue-by-issue.
