Votes Idaho describes itself as an advocacy-coordination platform while receiving Sixteen Thirty and Western Futures funding
Recorded status: IRS-derived funding and program-description facts verified; no identity link to America Votes’ Idaho state table or common control is established.
This is a dated research record. Its qualifications and open questions are part of the account. Association alone does not establish wrongdoing or control.
Votes Idaho Company is not described in its latest filing merely as a single-issue advocacy organization. Filing-derived program descriptions say it organized workshops, seminars and educational events; facilitated coordination among various issue-advocacy groups to amplify collective impact; provided a platform for organizations to share resources, best practices and strategic insights; and organized regular meetings, conferences and webinars to foster collaboration. Its FY2024 filing-derived funding records identify $163,000 from Sixteen Thirty Fund and $20,000 from Western Futures Fund. Across 2022-2024, Western Futures gave Votes Idaho approximately $562,000, including a $486,750 general-purpose grant in 2022 that equaled about 94.2% of Votes Idaho’s reported FY2022 revenue. Sixteen Thirty gave Votes Idaho $30,000 in 2022 and $163,000 in 2024, about $193,000 total. Votes Idaho’s FY2024 officers include executive director Colin Nash, board chair Matt Compton and board member Mistie DelliCarpini-Tolman. These records establish that Sixteen Thirty and WFF repeatedly funded an Idaho entity whose filed program description explicitly includes coordination, shared strategic resources and regular convenings among advocacy groups. They do NOT establish that Sixteen Thirty or WFF controlled Votes Idaho, selected its partners, directed a specific Idaho campaign, or that Votes Idaho is the same entity as the America Votes Idaho state table documented separately. That state-table identity remains unresolved.
