The University of Idaho's current Rinker Rock Creek Ranch page identifies joint management by its College of Natural Resources and College of Agricultural and Life Sciences. Its advisory committee includes the Idaho Governor's Office of Species Conservation, Idaho Cattle Association, Idaho Fish and Game, Idaho Rangeland Resource Commission, Idaho Soil and Water Conservation Commission, The Nature Conservancy, Trout Unlimited and Wood River Land Trust. This is an institutional advisory connection, not proof Governor Brad Little personally directed operations or selected Prescott's company. The page names Tracey N. Johnson as research director, John Hall as cattle-management lead, and Cameron Weskamp as operations manager. Therefore the older description of Wyatt Prescott as ranch manager must not be substituted for the current university staff roster. His company's separately verified UI-897 service agreement is a different relationship. The Nature Conservancy's ranch page describes the university's 2019 interest as a 99-year lease from TNC and Wood River Land Trust, with management control transferred to the university. It dates the conservation organizations' acquisition from the Rinker family to 2014. The university's broader wording says acquired in 2019. Until the deed and lease are reviewed, preserve these descriptions rather than assert outright university title. WEF connection: the World Economic Forum hosts a Nature Conservancy organization page. More substantively, its December 16, 2024 article on water resilience is coauthored by Marianne Kleiberg, identified as TNC's regional managing director for Europe, and Oliver Karius of LGT Venture Philanthropy.
