IACI has its own formal election apparatus and a durable personnel/history link to Gov. Brad Little

Current primary and contemporaneous records establish a strong institutional relationship between Gov. Brad Little and the Idaho Association of Commerce & Industry (IACI), but not legal or proven operational control by IACI over the Governor. Idaho's official Blue Book/ITD records identify Little as a past chairman of IACI. In 2017 Little selected then-IACI vice president Zach Hauge to manage his gubernatorial campaign; the Governor's current staff page identifies Hauge as Little's chief of staff in 2026. IACI's own current materials say its Idaho Prosperity Fund (IPF) was created to fulfill IACI's campaign/election engagement mission, that the IPF board determines which candidates to support, and that IACI vice president John Eaton oversees all aspects of IPF. IACI also describes itself as representing roughly 300 Idaho employers and as seeking to shape state policy. Current secondary aggregation shows IPF at roughly $385,839 in 2026-cycle expenditures. These facts establish formal IACI control over its own PAC/election apparatus and a long-running personnel/political relationship with Little. They do NOT establish that IACI controls Little's official decisions, that Little controls IPF, or any money/control route between IACI and Sixteen Thirty Fund, Western Futures Fund or Way Back PAC.
