Way Back PAC’s federal organizational filings establish a time-bounded change in its formally reported relationship with Western Futures Fund. A Dec. 8, 2023 FEC Statement of Organization explicitly reports “NONE” on Line 6 for connected organization/affiliate/sponsor. The same filing lists Jonah Meyers as assistant treasurer/designated agent. A Jan. 14, 2026 FEC Statement of Organization instead lists Western Futures Fund on Line 6 and checks “Connected Organization,” while again listing Jonah Meyers as assistant treasurer. Thus WFF was formally added as Way Back’s connected organization after the 2023 filing rather than being carried as a connected organization from Way Back’s early period. The filings do not explain what transaction, governance change, administrative arrangement or legal analysis caused the change, or its exact effective date. That 2023-to-2026 transition is now a targeted research gap.
