World Economic Forum-supported Global Shapers network had a Boise Hub that announced 2016 voter-information work

A narrow but direct World Economic Forum institutional route into Idaho civic/election-related activity is documented through the Global Shapers Community. WEF's own 2016 Global Shapers annual report lists a Boise Hub. A November 30, 2015 Idaho Statesman item introducing Global Shapers Boise says it was a branch of the World Economic Forum Global Shapers Community and identified an upcoming project to inform Boise young adults and first-time voters about the 2016 elections. WEF currently states that the Global Shapers Community is housed at the World Economic Forum and that the Forum contributes significant financial and in-kind operational support, including staff time and technology tools. WEF annual reporting also shows substantial Forum contributions to the Global Shapers Community as a whole. However, WEF's hub funding guidelines state that local hubs are responsible for their own financial sustainability and mainly seek local external funding. Therefore the record proves WEF-supported network infrastructure + an official Boise hub + announced voter-information activity. It does NOT establish that WEF headquarters specifically paid for the Boise voter project, directed its content, engaged in partisan advocacy, supported a candidate, or affected a particular Idaho election result or legislative vote.
