Cothren entity cluster: bank-transfer and concealment evidence, with admissibility limits

In a March 28, 2025 pretrial response, federal prosecutors said bank records for Cade Cothren’s other entities—including Faith Family Freedom Fund PAC, Redbird Strategies, Dixieland Strategies, and Bulletproof Research—were relevant to show intentional concealment of his identity in political business. The filing said records revealed transfers among those entities, Phoenix Solutions, and Cothren’s personal accounts, and separately described state-payment proceeds moving from Right Way Consulting into Cothren’s personal account. This is a government evidentiary assertion, not by itself a judicial finding. A later trial ruling reportedly excluded Cothren’s personal bank records at least initially because ordinary expenditures were not relevant, so the records should not be described as evidence the jury necessarily saw or relied upon. The convictions independently establish the charged Phoenix Solutions scheme, but not every alleged feature of every related entity. Investigative value for Idaho: test for hidden controllers, nominee signers, common bank/payee/contact infrastructure, transfers among nominally separate vendors, and rapid pass-throughs—without inferring illegality merely from entity opacity or close transaction timing.
