Federal Government That Works PAC is a Contours/Sixteen Thirty/WFF/Blue Moon hub; Way Back’s same-name $75K payee remains identity-unresolved
Recorded status: CORRECTED: Federal C00915595 has verified Contours/1630/WFF funding and Blue Moon payments. Way Back's $75K same-name payee is NOT yet linked to C00915595 because a separate South Dakota GTW PAC exists and previously received Way Back money.
This is a dated research record. Its qualifications and open questions are part of the account. Association alone does not establish wrongdoing or control.
Government That Works PAC (federal FEC committee C00915595, Washington, DC) is independently a significant shared recipient/professional-services node across organizations already central to the Western Futures/Way Back investigation. Its 2025 FEC filing reports Contours receipts of $650,000 on Aug. 19, $250,000 on Oct. 29 and $2,000,000 on Dec. 23 ($2.9M total); $15,000 from Western Futures Fund on Oct. 3; $300,000 from America Votes on Oct. 24; Global Impact Social Welfare Fund receipts; and recurring Blue Moon Strategies administrative-consulting payments. A subsequent 2026 filing reports $4,000,000 from Sixteen Thirty Fund on Jan. 22 and another Blue Moon management-consulting payment. These records establish a federal GTW hub linking Contours, Sixteen Thirty, WFF and Blue Moon. However, the earlier version of this item incorrectly treated Way Back PAC's separate 2026 $75,000 payee named 'Government That Works PAC' as necessarily the federal C00915595. That identity is not established. A distinct South Dakota state PAC also uses the exact name Government That Works PAC, operates at PO Box 114, Sioux Falls, identifies itself as focused on South Dakota, and its 2024 state disclosure reported $40,000 from Way Back PAC. Way Back's Apr. 1–Jun. 3, 2026 FEC-derived payee list contains a $75,000 'Government That Works PAC' row but the accessible aggregate does not expose the recipient address or committee ID. Therefore the $75,000 must remain identity-unresolved until the raw Schedule B row or recipient-side state/federal filing identifies which same-name committee received it. Do NOT use the Way Back $75K as an edge into federal C00915595 yet. The federal GTW node remains significant on its separately verified Contours/Sixteen Thirty/WFF/Blue Moon relationships. No common ownership, centralized command, unlawful coordination or same-dollar pass-through is established.
