Three independent Hopewell-funded institutional routes converge on Western Futures Fund

Hopewell Fund now has three separately documented organizational funding routes into entities that are themselves major Western Futures Fund funders. IRS-derived 2020-2024 data show Hopewell→New Venture Fund $26.6M across five grants; Hopewell→Sixteen Thirty Fund $22.5M across five grants; and Hopewell→Global Impact $19.5M across four grants. Western Futures Fund’s identified funders include Sixteen Thirty Fund $5.1M (largest), Global Impact Social Welfare Foundation $3.0M (second), and New Venture Fund $2.2M (third). The Global Impact route contains an additional documented step: Global Impact c3→Global Impact Social Welfare Foundation c4 about $28.1M cumulatively across 2022-2024, followed by GISWF→Western Futures $3.0M in 2022-2023. Western Futures then funded Votes Idaho, Way Back PAC, CVI, Idahoans United and other western political/advocacy groups. This creates three independent institutional routes: Hopewell→Sixteen Thirty→WFF; Hopewell→New Venture→WFF; and Hopewell→Global Impact→GISWF→WFF. It materially strengthens the network architecture but does NOT establish pass-through, earmarking, or that any Hopewell grant financed a particular Western Futures or Idaho grant. Each entity pools funds and has multiple donors/grantees.
