Recorded status: Verified upstream relationships from state campaign-finance records and IRS Form 990-derived records. Idaho earmarking/pass-through unverified.
This is a dated research record. Its qualifications and open questions are part of the account. Association alone does not establish wrongdoing or control.
Way Back PAC, which gave $250,000 to Idahoans for Open Primaries in the 2024 campaign, received $100,000 from Western Futures Fund on October 10, 2024 and $75,000 from Unite America PAC on October 11, 2024 in Wyoming campaign-finance records. Western Futures Fund's FY2024 Form 990 reports receiving $2.8 million from Sixteen Thirty Fund, $1.8 million from New Venture Fund, $500,000 from Guardian of Rights Fund, $450,000 from Civic Truth Coalition, and $30,000 from Sheriff Accountability Action; it reported paying $100,000 to Way Back PAC in FY2024. Guardian of Rights Fund separately reported a $250,000 grant to Way Back PAC in FY2023. These establish upstream funding relationships to Way Back. They do not establish that any specific upstream grant was earmarked for Idahoans for Open Primaries or that the same dollars were passed through to Idaho.
