Targeted Platform Media bridges Proposition 1 to Hometown’s downstream PACs
Recorded status: Verified common-vendor continuity and same-day timing; dollar-level earmarking and coordination unproven
This is a dated research record. Its qualifications and open questions are part of the account. Association alone does not establish wrongdoing or control.
A second national media vendor links Idahoans for Open Primaries to the Hometown Heroes redistribution network. Idaho Sunshine records show Idahoans for Open Primaries paid Targeted Platform Media, LLC $1,683,351.30 in October 2024 ($599,596.30 on Oct. 11; $648,755 on Oct. 18; $435,000 on Oct. 28) for broadcast advertising supporting Proposition 1. In May 2026, Magic Valley Voter Action paid the same vendor $80,919 on May 7 for a 23-candidate supportive slate, and Idaho First paid it $55,000 on May 8 and $30,000 on May 15 supporting Richard Marsh. These are two of the three committees Hometown Heroes funded during its May redistribution. The timing is tight: Hometown sent MVVA $82,000 on May 7, the day MVVA paid Targeted Platform $80,919; Hometown sent Idaho First $45,000 on May 8, the day Idaho First paid Targeted Platform $55,000 and Redbird $14,000. Pooled funds prevent tracing Hometown's exact dollars. Nevertheless, the official filings establish continuity through a common media buyer between the 2024 Proposition 1 campaign and two PACs in the 2026 Hometown network.
