Common Ground and Veterans for All Voters are formal partners in Oregon open-primary reform
Recorded status: Verified from Oregon legislative records, V4IV self-description and Idaho court/coalition records. Common control/shared funding not established.
This is a dated research record. Its qualifications and open questions are part of the account. Association alone does not establish wrongdoing or control.
Oregon Legislature public-testimony documents for the 2025 Unified Primary Act and 2026 HJR 201/Voter Fairness effort list Common Ground United We Stand and Veterans for All Voters together among Oregon Election Reform Coalition participants/supporters. A February 5, 2026 Oregon legislative record separately lists Charlie Conrad testifying in support for Common Ground — United We Stand and Jordan Baxter testifying in support for Veterans for All Voters. Veterans for Idaho Voters explicitly describes itself as the Idaho affiliate of Veterans for All Voters and was a formal member of Idahoans for Open Primaries alongside Reclaim Idaho. Thus there are two independent documented routes connecting Common Ground to the Reclaim/Open Primaries network: (1) locally, Reclaim partnered with Save Our Schools Idaho, whose Twin Falls town hall was moderated by Common Ground co-founder Chenele Dixon; and (2) cross-state election reform, V4IV→VAV and Common Ground both participate in Oregon's open-primary coalition. These relationships do not establish common control or shared funding among Common Ground and Reclaim.
