Luke Mayville

Luke Mayville co-founded Reclaim Idaho in Sandpoint in 2017. In a sworn declaration cited in the research, he described responsibilities including strategic priorities, fundraising, media communications, initiative drafting and recruiting volunteers and leaders around Idaho. Reclaim Idaho Fund’s FY2024 tax filing separately names him as a director, alongside Yvonne Sandmire and Ann Marie Johnson. His declaration also describes a political-science doctorate from Yale and teaching and research work at several universities. The Reclaim movement, Reclaim Idaho Fund and Project Reclaim Idaho Inc. are kept distinct in these records. A role in one organization does not automatically establish a role in another or personal approval of a particular grant.

Mayville’s documented organizing responsibilities and nonprofit directorship help explain the personnel structure of the Reclaim research. Organizational grants and personal compensation must be assessed separately.
