Arlethea “A.K.” Lienhart-Minnick is not merely a compliance name. Contemporary and historical reporting identifies her as a former chair of the Idaho Democratic Party, a longtime campaign operative, and the wife of former Democratic U.S. Rep. Walt Minnick. Idaho Education News reported that she chaired Stronger Idaho, Accountable Idaho and Idaho Liberty Defense in the 2024 election. The three groups collectively spent more than $55,500 supporting Democrats and opposing Republicans in swing districts, including $10,110 opposing Republican Annette Tipton, $8,888 opposing Republican Codi Galloway and $8,530 opposing Republican Sen. Dan Foreman. Separate reporting based on state campaign-finance records says Accountable Idaho transferred $56,500 to Idaho Liberty Defense, which also received $12,000 from Planned Parenthood’s Idaho PAC. This confirms common human governance plus a large internal PAC-to-PAC transfer; it is stronger than parallel ideology or a shared vendor. It also situates the previously documented Stronger Idaho → Scrap Shop operation inside a PAC cluster controlled by a former state Democratic Party chair. The names “Idaho Liberty Defense” and “Stronger Idaho” do not disclose that partisan operating history.
