Dixon’s later Unity Alliance/dairy proximity is preceded by documented dairy-industry political support

Idaho Dairymen’s Association publications document a political relationship with Chenele Dixon that predates her later Unity Alliance board role. IDI PAC’s 2022 post-primary report lists Dixon as an endorsed House candidate who received both a financial contribution and independent-expenditure support; Greg Lanting was also endorsed. IDI PAC’s 2024 endorsement material again lists Dixon, Linda Wright Hartgen and Greg Lanting among supported Magic Valley candidates. After Dixon, Hartgen, Lanting and several other incumbents lost their 2024 primaries, Idaho Dairy Focus reported that IDA and Rep. Jack Nelsen hosted a July 26 appreciation BBQ honoring Senators Hartgen and Geoff Schroeder and Representatives Matthew Bundy, Chenele Dixon and Greg Lanting as strong supporters of the dairy industry. Current Unity Alliance records then place Dixon on the same board/network as Bob Naerebout and Riley Barney of the Idaho Dairymen’s Association, with Rick Naerebout as adviser and IDA as a Platinum Partner. This establishes multi-year political/institutional continuity between Dixon and the Idaho dairy industry, rather than a relationship first appearing through Unity Alliance. It does NOT establish that IDA controls Dixon, Unity Alliance, Idaho Solutions or Common Ground, or that past PAC support caused later board relationships.
