This is a dated research record. Its qualifications and open questions are part of the account. Association alone does not establish wrongdoing or control.
America Votes is Sixteen Thirty Fund’s largest identified downstream grantee and its own 2024 State Summit documents an Idaho state-table presence. IRS-derived Sixteen Thirty grant records report approximately $179.6M to America Votes across five grants from 2020-2024. Publicly indexed year-specific Sixteen Thirty records include approximately $128.98M in 2020, $1.525M in 2021, $20.658M in 2022, roughly $0.59M in 2023 by multi-year reconciliation, and $27.85M in 2024. America Votes describes itself as the coordination hub of the progressive community, coordinating electoral and advocacy programs across more than 400 state/national partners and providing data infrastructure, shared planning and state-based strategy. Its official March 2024 State Summit agenda lists “Office Hours: NC, MT, WI, CO, KY, WA, VA, TN, MO, MA, ID, OR, ND,” and says those office hours allow attendees to meet “state table staff and leaders” and learn how each state is planning “to win power in 2024 and beyond.” The same summit was described by America Votes as convening nearly 2,000 strategists, progressive leaders and organizers to craft state-based strategies for issue advocacy and electoral campaigns. This establishes that an Idaho state table was represented in America Votes’ 2024 state-table planning infrastructure while America Votes was a massive recurring Sixteen Thirty grantee. It does NOT yet establish the legal identity, staff, funding source, membership roster or specific Idaho activities of that state table; it also does not establish that Sixteen Thirty money was earmarked for Idaho. Searches to date have not reliably identified the Idaho table operator, so Votes Idaho, CVI or other Idaho groups must not be equated with it without direct evidence.
