Reclaim employee Ashley Prince simultaneously served as Idahoans for Open Primaries campaign manager

The Idaho Supreme Court’s 2023 decision in Idahoans for Open Primaries v. Labrador establishes a direct operational staffing bridge between Reclaim Idaho and the Open Primaries initiative. The Court states that Ashley Prince had been a Reclaim Idaho employee since 2021 working as a campaign manager, that Reclaim was actively pursuing the initiative, and that Prince served as campaign manager for the Idahoans for Open Primaries initiative campaign while continuing to fulfill her role as a Reclaim employee. This is stronger than coalition membership or a financial contribution: a Reclaim employee simultaneously managed the initiative campaign. The record does not by itself establish that Reclaim legally controlled Idahoans for Open Primaries, that all IFO staff were Reclaim personnel, or that the entities shared finances. A later 2024 verified complaint also quotes training attributed to Prince in which she introduced herself to prospective signers as being with Reclaim Idaho while gathering signatures for the Open Primaries Initiative; because that statement appears in an adversarial pleading, the Supreme Court opinion is the controlling evidence for the operational staffing link.
