Article IV directly funded three Idaho organizations across 2022–2024, including Votes Idaho before the Prop 1 cycle
Recorded status: IRS/Schedule I VERIFIED: Article IV→Votes Idaho $75K across 2022–23; Article IV→Idahoans for Open Primaries $2.22M in 2024; Article IV→Conservative Accountability Project $25K in 2024. Control, coordination and upstream earmarking not established.
This is a dated research record. Its qualifications and open questions are part of the account. Association alone does not establish wrongdoing or control.
Article IV's reported Schedule I grant history adds a previously unrecorded direct Idaho lane. Its filings report two $37,500 general-support grants to Votes Idaho Company in 2022 and 2023 ($75,000 total), followed in 2024 by $2,220,000 to Idahoans for Open Primaries and $25,000 to Boise-based Conservative Accountability Project. An IRS-derived complete Article IV grant aggregation for 2021–2024 identifies these three Boise recipients as its Idaho portfolio and reports approximately $2.3 million to Idaho overall. The Votes Idaho grants are particularly useful chronologically because they show Article IV directly funding an Idaho advocacy-coordination organization before the much larger 2024 Proposition 1 grant. Conservative Accountability Project is a distinct Idaho 501(c)(4) whose own materials describe voter education and legislator-accountability advocacy; Article IV's $25,000 payment was reported as general support. These grants establish Article IV as a recurring direct Idaho funder across multiple legal entities and years. They do NOT establish that Article IV controlled Votes Idaho, Idahoans for Open Primaries, or Conservative Accountability Project; that the recipients coordinated with one another; or that any one upstream Article IV donor earmarked funds for these Idaho grants.
