Kelly Anthon-chaired Gem State Legacy PAC contributed to Brent Reinke after the 2026 primary
Recorded status: PRIMARY VERIFIED contribution and governance. July 27 timing establishes post-primary support only; no direct Anthon↔Hometown Heroes control or primary-spending role established.
This is a dated research record. Its qualifications and open questions are part of the account. Association alone does not establish wrongdoing or control.
Idaho Sunshine’s official Brent Reinke contribution ledger records a $1,000 contribution from Gem State Legacy Political Action Committee on July 27, 2026, designated for the general election. Idaho Sunshine separately identifies Senate President Pro Tempore Kelly Arthur Anthon as Gem State Legacy PAC’s chairperson and Joelle Anthon as treasurer. Reinke defeated incumbent Sen. Glenneda Zuiderveld in the May 19, 2026 Republican primary. Supported conclusion: the Anthon-chaired PAC financially supported Zuiderveld’s successful challenger and successor, creating a verified Anthon-governed PAC → Reinke candidate edge. Timing firewall: this contribution came after the primary and therefore did not finance the primary campaign or the independent expenditures that helped Reinke defeat Zuiderveld. It demonstrates post-primary institutional support for Reinke, not Anthon control of Hometown Heroes or proof that Anthon directed any anti-Zuiderveld spending.
