Idaho Dairy PAC, IACI's PAC and the WFF/Way Back lane converged on several of the same 2026 Idaho candidates

The Idaho Dairymen's Association/Idaho Dairy Industry PAC is a separate Idaho agriculture political actor, not a demonstrated arm of Western Futures or IACI. IDA's own current site says its governmental-affairs mission is to impact agency and legislative decisions to benefit Idaho's dairy industry. Its Spring 2026 newsletter shows the Idaho Dairy Industry PAC endorsing Gov. Brad Little and a broad candidate slate including Jim Guthrie, Ben Fuhriman, Stephanie Mickelsen, Megan Blanksma, Mike Veile and others. The same newsletter advertises an April 30 Idaho Dairy Industry PAC/Idaho Potato PAC fundraising reception for Little with District 24/25 candidates and an April 16 fundraiser for Sen. Jim Guthrie hosted by Little, former Govs. Butch Otter and Dirk Kempthorne, with federal officials also attending. Independent 2026 reporting based on Idaho campaign-finance filings shows candidate-level convergence with the previously mapped Western Futures→Way Back→Defend and Protect Idaho lane: Guthrie was supported by Defend and Protect Idaho and Idaho First while Idaho Prosperity Fund spent heavily supporting him; Ben Fuhriman received independent-expenditure support from Defend and Protect Idaho, Idaho Dairy Industry PAC, Hometown Heroes and Idaho Prosperity Fund; Stephanie Mickelsen was supported by Defend and Protect Idaho, Idaho Dairy Industry PAC and Hometown Heroes. Current secondary aggregation lists Idaho Dairy Industry PAC at roughly $185,430 in expenditures. This establishes real overlap in candidate beneficiaries between the dairy/IACI ecosystem and WFF/Way Back-funded Idaho PACs. It does NOT establish coordination, common control, shared vendors, earmarking, or a money transfer between IDA/IPF and Western Futures/Way Back. The overlap itself is a high-value map layer because it shows where otherwise separate funding systems converge politically.
