Quadrivium is a major Unite America Institute funder while Quadrivium president Kathryn Murdoch serves in Institute leadership

A cleaner upstream Unite America node is documented through Quadrivium and Kathryn Murdoch. IRS-derived grant data show Quadrivium (EIN 46-1535719), co-led by James R. Murdoch and Kathryn Murdoch, gave Unite America Institute approximately $7.0 million across six grants from 2020-2024, making Quadrivium the Institute’s second-largest identified institutional funder in the available 2019-2025 dataset, behind Fidelity Charitable. Unite America Institute’s own current board page identifies Kathryn Murdoch as a board member and as co-founder/president of Quadrivium; the Institute’s FY2024 Form 990 identifies her as vice chair and chair as of Nov. 2024. Thus a major recurring institutional funder and the Institute’s board leadership overlap directly through Murdoch. Separately, FEC records show Kathryn Murdoch personally contributing to Unite America PAC; a May 20, 2024 FEC receipt records $95,000 from Murdoch, employer Quadrivium, and contemporaneous reporting/OpenSecrets-derived accounts identify her among the PAC’s largest 2024-cycle donors, with much larger contributions later in the year. The foundation grants, nonprofit governance, and personal PAC contributions are legally distinct and must not be combined as one funding stream. None of this establishes that Quadrivium or Murdoch earmarked money for Idaho Proposition 1, directed Reclaim Idaho, or controlled the Idaho campaign.
