North Fund is a major reciprocal Sixteen Thirty funding node and a separate current route into Way Back PAC
Recorded status: IRS/PRIMARY VERIFIED major reciprocal Sixteen Thirty↔North Fund relationship; IRS-derived 2020–24 totals ≈$40.5M 1630→North and ≈$24.7M North→1630; FEC-bulk North→Way Back $300K. Same-dollar recycling/Idaho earmarking NOT established.
This is a dated research record. Its qualifications and open questions are part of the account. Association alone does not establish wrongdoing or control.
The North Fund branch is materially larger than the single-year transactions first documented. IRS-derived grant aggregation for 2020–2024 reports North Fund receiving approximately $45.0 million from New Venture Fund and $40.5 million from Sixteen Thirty Fund; Sixteen Thirty’s own grantee aggregation likewise reports approximately $40.5 million to North Fund across five years. In the other direction, North Fund’s grantee aggregation reports approximately $24.7 million to Sixteen Thirty Fund across six grants from 2020–2024. Primary year-specific filings confirm the relationship in both directions: Sixteen Thirty’s FY2024 Schedule I reports $6.8 million to North Fund, while North Fund’s FY2023 filing reports $5.425 million to Sixteen Thirty (and IRS-derived FY2024 data report another roughly $5.291 million North→Sixteen Thirty). Current FEC-bulk-derived Way Back PAC reporting separately lists a $300,000 North Fund contribution during the 2025–2026 cycle. This makes North Fund a large, recurrent funding node adjacent to Sixteen Thirty and New Venture Fund with its own direct lane into Way Back, alongside the separate Sixteen Thirty→Western Futures→Way Back route. The reciprocal multi-year grant relationship does NOT prove circular same-dollar recycling, concealment, an earmarked pass-through to Way Back, or that any North Fund/1630/NVF money was designated for Idaho.
