Article IV and Unite America also funded FairVote Action, which actively mobilized supporters for Idaho Yes on 1

FairVote Action Fund (EIN 38-3650370), the 501(c)(4) sister/partner organization of FairVote, directly promoted Idaho’s 2024 Proposition 1 campaign and urged supporters to volunteer for the “Yes on 1” campaign. FairVote’s own site identifies FairVote Action as its partner 501(c)(4), and FairVote Action describes its role as campaigning/lobbying to win ranked-choice voting reforms. IRS-derived FY2024 records show FairVote Action received $400,000 from Action Now Inc., $300,000 from Article IV, and $260,866 from Unite America Inc. in that year. Article IV and Unite America-related entities were also major direct funders of Idahoans for Open Primaries. This creates a documented common-funder/operational-support crossline: two of the same national c4 funding nodes directly financing IFO also funded FairVote Action, which was actively directing volunteers toward Idaho Yes on 1. It does NOT establish that the Article IV or Unite America grants to FairVote Action were earmarked for Idaho, nor that FairVote Action transferred money to IFO. FairVote c3 and FairVote Action c4 must remain legally distinct.
