Public records establish that “Common Ground USA” (CG-USA) is the U.S. program of Search for Common Ground, a Washington, D.C.-based 501(c)(3) with EIN 52-1257425. Search for Common Ground launched CG-USA in 2021 and identifies Nealin Parker as its executive director. This is not the same organization as Chenele Dixon and Charlie Conrad’s Common Ground—United We Stand, the Kimberly, Idaho 501(c)(3) with EIN 33-2300740 and PO Box 859. A Journal of Democracy article says Common Ground USA, Over Zero and the Carter Center are among national organizations partnering with or helping local groups such as Idaho Leaders United to reduce political violence. That reference concerns Search for Common Ground’s CG-USA program, NOT Dixon’s Common Ground—United We Stand. Never use the Journal of Democracy/CG-USA→Idaho Leaders United statement as evidence of a Dixon/Common Ground-UWS→ILU relationship.
