Sunflower confirms Sixteen Thirty as a contracted client; three nonprofit owners have board representation

UPDATE September 18, 2026: Sunflower's own website explicitly names Sixteen Thirty Fund as a client and says each listed organization contracts for operational and administrative support. Its seven named clients are New Venture Fund, Windward Fund, Hopewell Fund, Sixteen Thirty Fund, North Fund, Impetus Fund and Telescope Fund. This resolves the earlier uncertainty about the direct service relationship. The actual contract, fees and approval rights remain unreviewed. Sunflower states that it is wholly owned by NVF, Windward and Hopewell and that its board includes owner representatives. Its page does not name those directors or disclose ownership percentages, voting rights or acquisition price. Allan Williams is CEO. Sunflower says it is not itself a fiscal sponsor or intermediary. Arabella's November 17, 2025 announcement states that Sunflower acquired its fiscal sponsorship servicing business, infrastructure and operations team effective immediately and that Arabella would cease operations. NVF was lead investor. This is a documented shift to nonprofit-client ownership of the service business with operational continuity; it does not establish those nonprofits' ownership of Sixteen Thirty. Historical baseline: Sixteen Thirty's 2024 Form 990 reports $6,627,257 paid to Arabella for administrative and operational support. Schedule O describes HR, payroll and compliance functions and separately discloses a reimbursed common-paymaster arrangement with NVF. Neither relationship alone establishes who chose an Idaho recipient.
