No direct Hopewell→Reclaim grant located; RWJF→Reclaim $250K is primary-verifiable
Recorded status: Verified negative search across current indexed Hopewell/public grant records, with a primary-source RWJF contrast. No direct Hopewell grant found; absolute absence cannot be proved.
This is a dated research record. Its qualifications and open questions are part of the account. Association alone does not establish wrongdoing or control.
A targeted exact-name/EIN search of currently indexed Hopewell Fund grant records and broader public grant records did not identify a direct Hopewell Fund grant to Reclaim Idaho or Reclaim Idaho Fund (EIN 86-3680412). Searches for "Reclaim Idaho Fund" and EIN 86-3680412 with Hopewell returned no direct grant record. By contrast, a direct Robert Wood Johnson Foundation grant is primary-verifiable in RWJF’s 2024 Form 990-PF: Reclaim Idaho Fund, 2605 W Kootenai Street, Boise, project 82227, "Developing Citizen Advocates To Protect Idaho’s Democracy and Quality of Life," $250,000. The contrast is useful: direct institutional grants to Reclaim can and do appear in public filings when reportable, but no comparable Hopewell→Reclaim record was located in the currently available data. This is a documented negative check, not proof that no Hopewell support ever occurred; unreported small grants, intermediaries, later filings, or donor-anonymous c4 support may not be visible. Glenneda’s article should therefore say that no direct Hopewell grant to Reclaim has been located in the public records reviewed, not that Hopewell definitively never funded Reclaim.
