IEA has separate documented financial links to Reclaim and Republican-primary PAC activity

Idaho Education Association retired-council minutes for 2023-24 report that the SWEA-R retired chapter used an IEA grant for $1,000 in 'Support for Reclaim Idaho.' Separately, in the 2024 election cycle, IEA's Political Action Committee for Education (PACE) contributed roughly $90,000 to Right 2 Learn, an Idaho PAC that spent heavily in Republican legislative primaries against private-school-choice supporters. In the 2026 primary cycle, Idaho Capital Sun reported that Right 2 Learn supported Idaho First and Hometown Heroes; Hometown Heroes in turn contributed more than $65,000 to Defend and Protect Idaho and $45,000 to Idaho First, while Take Back Idaho contributed $6,000 to Idaho First. These are distinct financial paths. The evidence establishes (1) a small direct IEA-affiliated support payment to Reclaim and (2) a much larger IEA-PACE-to-Right-2-Learn electoral path that later intersects the 2026 Republican-primary PAC network. It does NOT establish that Reclaim money financed Right 2 Learn, Hometown Heroes, Idaho First or Defend and Protect Idaho.
