Prop 1 funding linked Reclaim to a larger national election-reform funding network

Late-October 2024 reporting based on Idaho Secretary of State data said Idahoans for Open Primaries had amassed about $5.5 million. Major outside contributions included Article IV $2.2 million, Unite America PAC plus a related entity $1.8 million, and Way Back PAC $250,000; Reclaim Idaho contributed $160,000 in September. Article IV's FY2024 Form 990 Schedule I separately reports a $2.22 million grant to Idahoans for Open Primaries and shows Idaho alongside a much larger multistate election-reform portfolio, including $18.38 million to Vote Yes on 3 in Nevada, $18.175 million to Montanans for Election Reform, $10.15 million to Citizens Not Politicians in Ohio, $6.465 million to Oregon Ranked Choice Voting, $4.9 million to No on 2 in Alaska, and $2.83 million to Yes on 117 in Oregon. A separate Wyoming campaign-finance record shows Unite America PAC gave Way Back PAC $75,000 on October 11, 2024. Thus at least two major Idaho Prop 1 funders were themselves financially connected. This does not establish that Unite America's $75,000 was earmarked or passed through Way Back to Idaho.
