Unite America funded RepresentUs c4 final-four/RCV work as Represent US Idaho joined the original IFO coalition

RepresentUs provides another national-to-Idaho route inside the Open Primaries ecosystem. Idaho Capital Sun’s May 2, 2023 launch report identifies “Represent US Idaho” as one of the organizations collaborating with Reclaim Idaho, the Idaho Task Force of Veterans for Political Innovation, North Idaho Women and Hope Coalition to form Idahoans for Open Primaries. RepresentUs’ own 2024 campaign hub subsequently identified Idaho Proposition 1 as one of its voting-reform campaign targets and its local-action page listed “Idaho: Final Four Voting” among active campaigns/local partnerships. Separately, IRS grant data for the 501(c)(4) Represent US (EIN 26-2369596) show Unite America Inc gave it $1.4M across four grants from 2021-2024. Funder records specify a $300,000 2023 Unite America Inc grant “TO SUPPORT THE FINAL-FOUR VOTING/RANKED CHOICE VOTING PROGRAM.” This is a particularly close temporal/programmatic alignment because the Idaho coalition launched in 2023 and pursued a final-four/RCV initiative. However, the record located so far does not identify “Represent US Idaho” as a separate legal entity or explicitly state that the national $300K grant was earmarked for Idaho, transferred to IFO, or used for Idaho expenses. Treat the local/national RepresentUs relationship as an organizational/brand campaign relationship supported by RepresentUs’s own later Idaho campaign materials, while withholding Idaho-dollar tracing.
