FCC order and invoice identify Hulsen-named personnel under Commercial Space Experts; legal ownership remains unverified
Recorded status: Primary-record operational identifiers verified; person-name equivalence, legal entity and Redbird links unresolved
This is a dated research record. Its qualifications and open questions are part of the account. Association alone does not establish wrongdoing or control.
New primary evidence: KSNQ contract packet 6601147 page 5 lists agency COMMERCIAL SPACE EXPERTS TX, buyer KRISTIN HULSEN, advertiser DEFEND AND PROTECT IDAHO PAC, and Katz Radio representative Brenda Deaton. The associated issue-ad form on page 3 lists contact K. Black. Invoice 6601147-1 page 1 bills Commercial Space Experts, Attention: Meenah Hulsen. All use the same Austin business billing address already seen on the KIVI form. These records establish specific buyer/contact labels in the same media purchase and materially strengthen the operational connection; they do not establish legal ownership or prove that Kristin Black and Kristin Hulsen are the same person. Do not merge those names without independent confirmation. Texas Tribune's October 27, 2022 reporting independently describes Commercial Space Experts as a media agency sharing an Austin address with Hulsen Media Services for an unrelated client's purchase. Thus the Commercial Space Experts label predates the Idaho Redbird LLC formation in 2025. This is not evidence of wrongdoing by any entity. The 2026 official state-ledger analysis records $95,414 of Defend payments directly to Hulsen, separately from Redbird. A direct Hulsen purchase is therefore an available explanation; an unobserved Redbird-to-Hulsen transfer is not necessary to explain the FCC agency label. The station documents do not identify a Redbird or Cothren role. Correction to the previous version: one source excerpt incorrectly paired $70,000 with October 20, 2022 while the body said $30,000. Treat that historical amount/date excerpt as unreliable and withdrawn pending original-record retrieval. The earlier 2022 and 2024 payment snippets remain leads, not verified findings from this turn; the 2024 committee attribution remains unresolved.
